MDC Hialeah Campus Presents “Stories of the Natural and Unnatural World”

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Hialeah Campus provides “Stories of the Natural and Unnatural World“, an art show curated by Noor Blazekovic and that includes artist Jeanne Jaffe opening Monday, Oct. 3, by way of Monday, Dec. 5. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 4 – 9 p.m. The opening and exhibition are absolutely free and open to the general public by appointment only.

Jaffe is a multi-disciplinary artist doing the job in installation, sculpture, and stop movement animation. Her operate is motivated by an desire in language, literature, psychology, and historical past and explores how we assemble identification, our planet and our price units. She is Professor Emeritus of Fantastic Arts at the College of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is the receiver of fellowship grants from the Gottlieb Basis, the Nationwide Endowment for the Arts, the Mid Atlantic/NEA. the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts among other individuals.

Museum in Japan, Michener Art Museum, The Royal Scottish Academy of Edinburgh, Scotland, Girl’s Club in Fort Lauderdale, IS Jobs, Hollywood Art and Culture Center, and the Arts Warehouse.
